Can you identify this mysterious bird on the cross? My husband and I are still trying to figure it out. We first noticed it during the still, early hours of Christmas eve morning in central Mississippi. It was 12 degrees outside and what was unusual was that this particular bird was the only one in the area. It remained perched on the old rugged cross for almost 30 minutes and then it departed, never to be seen again. So, the question remains. What is the mystery bird on the cross? And is there a special meaning?
