Splashing Living Water
It has been quite interesting around our home since February 14, 2022. As I have been soaking in the presence of GOD. It has helped me realize just how weak my body is in the natural when overcome by the spiritual. These past few weeks have been so precious to me I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize that. So, I have made the decision to go full speed ahead in pursuit of GOD. To be able to keep up, this jar of clay had to go back to the Potter’s Wheel!
This has prompted a combination of several changes with that one purpose in mind. The satellite is off. I’m making sure my spirit is getting a healthier all you can eat buffet. The first several days GOD was dropping so much into my dry dusty jar I was taking pen and notebook with me from room to room! I even resorted to writing a few lines on my hand at one point. Chocolate was never that delicious. Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in HIM! Psalm 34:8
I cleaned up and out my exercise room, (my formerly unused exercise room). Now I have several buffet options available there as well. I have praise and worship; I have Southern Gospel music. I have CD’s with just my Favorite songs. I have my new favorite accompaniment songs I’m learning. I have a TV set up with a DVD player just in case I want to watch teaching or music! Oh, and by the way I left the exercise equipment there. I’m taking turns on all of it from 30 to 45 minutes a day. When my Red Letters CD came last week, I put it on repeat and didn’t even get winded exercising that day. Don’t even try to tell me GOD is not all up in this place!
Then there is the actual eating business to deal with. It seems quite interesting to me that when I’m full of joy I don’t feel as hungry, not to mention bouncing around all over the place gets in even more exercise! I even cleaned the porch yesterday!
Several of those first few days I caught my husband looking at me quite strangely and possibly cautiously out of the corner of his eye. He didn’t actually say anything… I think he’s just been waiting for things to get back to normal… which by the way… not happening! The night he called me and told me the Good Doctor is on… took the prize so far. This has been an ongoing joke with us now for however many seasons it has been on. I loved the show and he didn’t, so I’d always tell him when it came on. Now here he is watching it and I’m not even interested! (Don’t tell my husband but I think I even heard GOD laugh)! That may seem a tad too lighthearted to some but it’s okay, I promise! GOD is the best multi-tasker I know.
All this has been such an amazing season for me personally and I treasure it dearly. While I am doing all I know to guard and protect the atmosphere around me and not hinder the work GOD is doing in me. This does not mean it’s an all about me season. Have you ever seen kids in a swimming pool resist splashing water? Is it even possible? Come, let us tell of the LORD’s greatness; let us exalt HIS Name together. Psalm 34:3 I would dearly love to splash this on everyone I come in contact with! Wouldn’t you?
The very same GOD that made a dry path through the sea will make a path through the wilderness! But forget all that – it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 What better time than this? GOD wants us all to wade out in the deeper waters, fill our jars up to overflowing and hydrate some thirsty people wandering alone out in the wilderness! Will you be one of those that will splash Living Water?
That is so GOD, we can get healthy, have fun, and share LIVING WATER all at the same time!
