Eternity swaddled and brought to earth
The Savior delivered by immaculate birth
Angelic announcement to the shepherds told
Babe in manger they now behold
Celestial choir with praise has erupted
Atonement of sin for people corrupted
The Covenant blow to satan now dealt
As around the Babe shepherds have knelt
In a lowly manger and cattle stall
