According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening as a cold front approaches the unseasonably warm airmass over the region. Damaging winds up to 60 miles per hour and hail as large as quarters are possible. A tornado can’t be ruled out. Most of Mississippi could be impacted. Central Mississippi is a slight risk for severe weather at a level #2. Timeline for this event is 12pm – 10pm.
