Author William McCully will present his literary works at the Carthage-Leake County Library this Friday, May 26th, at 12:00 p.m.
William McCully, A fifth generation Mississippian, has deep roots that pulled him back to family lands after years in the Mid-West. His work has taken him to many historic and rural places across America including the western plains of Kansas. “A love of history spurred his first published works, “Murder in Rural Hill” and “Bones of Mississippi.”” Bones of Mississippi as well as his latest work entitled The Tragedy of Janie Sharp will be available at the event.
- Books will be available for sale and signing on-site. The cost is $20 per single book and $30 for both books.
The Friends of the Carthage-Leake County Library will provide a brown bag lunch for the first 25 people to attend. Call the library for more information. (601)267-7821.
